Hi, I have no idea if I ever had a B-12 deficiency but I did have the beginning of diabetic neuropathy and I knew immediately that I had to begin taking Methyl B-12. Started with 1000 and I knew I needed to take 5000 and while I do skip a day or two, I usually take one 5000 under my tongue each morning on an empty stomach. And when I indicated it nipped my neuropathy in the bud, I had numb tips of my toes and when a podiatrist used this vibrating tool on my feet, I practically jumped off of his chair, my feet BUZZED big time. They buzzed all day long. Only after many hours did they stop buzzing. So that's when I knew I had to go on the Methyl B-12.
Best of luck Melody
