Confused

mrsD,

Just getting around to taking the fish oil and SAMe that you suggested. If I understood you correctly, I should stop the Celebrex and Glucosamine completely and replace them with the fish oil and SAMe? Just wanted to be sure. Thanks.

Wink

I answered you in PM.

With time 6-8 wks the SAMe should be working and you won't need the Celebrex. You can take them together but continuing with Celebrex will mask the gains you get on the SAMe.

Long term use of NSAIDs can impair healing. SAMe promotes healing, so you may be able to get by like l do with occasional Tylenol.

The glucosamine is your choice. Newest studies show little gain from it. But I know people who like it and still use it.
That is up to you. It won't have any harmful interactions, but if you want to save some $$ you can drop it too eventually.

Please keep us in the loop as to your progress.
