I do take neurontin 1200-1500/day which I think helps the burning but now I have the leg pain. In the past I had hip bursitis and steroid injections helped but never pain down both legs. MRI tomorrow for lumbar spine. Ortho doc thinks there may be some problems here. Why? Who knows. Just one more thing to add to my plate. But still wondering, besides the painful feet, do any of you have the leg pains. Maybe I really dont have peripheral neuropathy and the burning is caused by something else and maybe time will tell. The pain is something new. Did have tests for paraneoplastic syndrome and all of those okay too. Will ask about the foot bones but really feet only burn...dont really hurt...it's the hips down to the ankles. Thanks again.

Do you know your exact B-12 level?
It's a good question, believe me (when all else comes in as negative), it's good to know your B-12 level, because people with neuropathy need MORE Methyl B-12 (it's a good form for us to take), and it really does help with the burning.
I've been on a high dose for over 2 years.
So if you can find out the exact number of your B-12 level, post it here.
