Hi Everyone:
I'm wondering if anyone here feels that they have a link between a repetitive strain injury and PN. Over at sorehand.org, some claim that a severe case of RSI can lead to PN. I feel that is the case with me, but I cannot find a dr. who agrees with me or supports this. I had a bad case of RSI in my upper extremeties. About a year later, I started having numbness in my feet, which then progressed upwards until I was finally diagnosed with PN. I went to the dr. today and she switched me from neurontin to cymbalta. I'm hoping it helps. The neurontin was working, but I was building up a resistance, so instead of upping my dosage, she switched me to cymbalta. I wish everyone in here the best of luck in dealing with PN. It's not an easy disease to deal, and I know that you have bad days. I'm hoping you all have more good days than bad ones. Sunny. ![]() |
