hi there
I have been on it for 30 years for my epilepsy - I stay on it because it gives me good seizure control and I value my drivers licence. Changing drugs and risking break through seizures would loose me my drivers licence. I have no idea how it has affected my PN as I was already on it when I started getting PN. I would think that there are a lot of drugs like neurontin that seem to have fewer side effects than tegretol that you may want to try first. Having said that I am very happy with tegretol and have no plans on going off it. cheers Raglet |
