Default Looking for someone who understands NCV reports

Anyone on here understand these ms readings and amplitude readings??

let me know please.

I have received my daughter's NCV report and the bottom line is

conclusion: the studies give evidence for a primary demyelinating motor and sensory neuropathy in the nerves tested in the upper and lower extremities.

I'm REALLY concerned about how low her readings are she's only 11 and they are definately worse then mine.

Have you called and asked the doctor what the readings mean and what they indicate? They should be able to tell you.

I really like this site: http://www.neuro.wustl.edu/neuromuscular/naltbrain.html

You can click on demyelinating and up pops all the things you can have.
If you are more motor or sensory, look on the disorders that indicate such.

CMT does pop up, and with you having PN it would make sense.

Your daughter would have whatever type you have, but may be effected more so.
