That is so cute. None of our 3 girls are that close. They tolerate each other, and don't fight, but no grooming or sleeping together for sure. Very possessive of the beds too.

I have a dumb box on the floor in the dining room. It is from Costco and I line it with paper that comes in the mail with packages. They all love it. Totally. But they take turns using it for sleeping. It is on the warm floor over the boiler which is below in the basement. When Sheba comes upstairs with me, Oreo moves in.
And we see Tippy in the box now and then. They really like the blue paper I just got with an Ebay delivery.
.

It is shabby looking but the cats adore it!
They also have other beds too, this is just one they rotate with.

But your cats are looking lovely together. I think they are a "couple" now!
.
Spooning like that, just too cute! And maybe she is sending out "not feeling well vibes"...and he senses it.
I wouldn't be surprised at that either.

they look so cute together.

It is so obvious that they love each other too!

Rocky looks so much like Roofie....He reminds me of Roofie so much!

Here is Roofie in better days. (he was a lover too, sniff sniff)

Your picture is just precious of the the two of them!

MrsD,

Roofie is adorable and big eyed too!
.
Our late kitty Tiger Puff was nearly a twin to Rocky in his colors, markings and temperament too.
.

I miss them a lot during the week but this is the last week for out of town training.

I agree with MrsD by putting the new cat(s) in another room for some time. Make sure all the cats get used to each others' smells via your clothes and hands. We let the new ones have their own room for a week. After the second day we let them out to investigate for several hours at a time, then put them back in the newbie room overnight since we couldn't monitor what happened when we slept. Currently we have six rescue cats and did this with all of them and it worked great. We have one who wishes she were the only cat but she "tolerates" the others. Good luck and God Bless You for being the kind person you are.
