Yesterday our cat calender had a featured cat who is
exactly marked like our Houdini.. Here is the scan of the calendar page... followed by our Houdini. Houdini is a female, and will be less muscular and robust than Sylvester, but the markings are almost identical! The white chin and whiskers. Houdini's whiskers have suddenly grown much longer, we've noticed so I have a new photo here of her in a sun pool playing with her flying disc toys. I ran into a lady at the Vet's who had a Tuxedo cat like Houdini and she claimed hers was the smartest cat she ever had! Houdini therefore is living up to these comments for us IMO. She has sailed thru her spay surgery easily... not like Weezie who was psychotic from the procedure and drugs and caused us some worry in fact!

Years ago we got a semi wild barn kitten that was a silver tuxedo, he adapted to being an indoor/outdoor house cat so easily.
He would go to the door and meow when he needed to go out, automatically , no training needed. Dd could dress him up in doll clothes and pose him, he was a great cat.

Sounds like Oreo, Jo.
I've been Googling "bicolor cats" and have found some interesting comments about intelligence etc. These have only 2 colors, and are not calico, which have 3. Oreo is very very clever and smart. But it is possible Houdini will surpass even her! Most of the Tuxedo cats I've found on the net are male. One figure was 75% male to 25% female. So I don't feel so . . getting the gender wrong... which is pretty embarrassing! .
