It's a Tabebuia tree

There is a yellow variety as well and all are in full bloom all over Florida at present. The one in my avi is in my front yard and has carpeted the lawn as well

I did wonder because it didn't appear to be the shape of a Jacaranda. What a lovely tree to have in your yard. I just did a quick search and saw the yellow one as well and that one was more familiar. I've seen it here too and commonly called golden trumpet tree or something similar.
