. So thankful "The Bike" leopard got away but that sure was close!!!

Wow, that is something else!
And in front of the safari trucks, no less! It is so dry there, it must be a territorial thing? One would think the lion could make short work of the smaller leopard?

I am astonished the leopard didn't hear or at least smell the lion as it got up close! The leopard is one of the dominant ones in that area, and within his territory.
Here is a bit of background on the encounter... . Thankfully the rains are beginning to fall there now after a prolonged and very severe drought.
