Just wanted to chime in again.
I understand how it is to lose a pet as well.
I feel as if our babies are like our kids!
I would be heartbroken 4 ever if i lost one of them!!

I am so glad to hear that Shadow found her way home!

In the event that my experience with a lost kitty might help someone in the future, I'd like to share what I did.

I had fostering a feral that accidentally escaped from my home. I knew, because she was still terrified of people (I am working on socializing her), there was no way I could ever find her in any traditional way. Even if I saw her, she would run.

I went to the local SPCA and borrowed a humane cage, the ones they use to catch ferals. (They asked for a $50 deposit, but the entire deposit was returned when I returned the cage).

I put it out right in front of my door, covered it, except for the entrance, with a towel (so if she was caught she wouldn't be as frightened), slipped in a bowl filled with real tuna & juce, and left it outside. I figured she would eventually get hungry enough, and she loooves tuna.

The first night, I caught a different cat and let it go.

The second night, I heard the trap door go about 2 a.m. It was her!

I brought in the trap, still covered, stood behind it so she wouldn't be frighteneed by me or possibly attack, and opened the door.

She dashed out, and although a bit shaken, within an hour or so, she was back to normal.

I'm so glad I thought of the trap idea. It would work with any cat, feral or not.

Default have to bump this up...

I ran into some photo shoot of the kittie spice girls, Chemar. So I saved it just for you.

Do you think your girls will look like this soon?

AND there is a website with more gorgeous shots... and you can even BUY one of
these wigs:

.

Check it out.....it is the latest thing! You must see.
for Pink Passion

Pink is the color of fantasy. Our model, Chicken, looks like her mind is elsewhere when she wears this wig -- somewhere in a land of cotton candy and pinwheels where the air smells like sugar kisses.

Pink makes your kitty feel elegant, modern and quintessentially feline.
There are more pictures there... this is just too funny and silly. I love the cats' expressions tho.

Chemar,
Just a quick message to say that Shadow is so cute. He's got beautiful eyes. My grandad owns a siamese cat and she is lovey (she is only 7 months old)
I don't own any cats but I own a springer spaniel puppy called Jack who is lovely
Take care and thank you
Love
Alison

thanks Ali

yes, Shadow really is a unique cat...he has a face like no other cat I have ever met....and eyes that are well...kinda like his full name...MoonShadow
.

The other photo I posted above is his brother Twilight, who again is one highly original feline! He makes a deep throated rrrroooaarrr sometimes when he does one of his dashes around the room and up and down the stairs and then up th cat tree condo
.
It really is very jungle cat in sound. Shadow joins in put he has a higher pitched voice and tend to sing rather than roar LOL

Springers are such great dogs. purrs to Jack from the kitties
.

Default those wigs!

Those wigs look too fake...can tell are wigs! specially the blue one! LoL!
Did you notice....$50 plus S&H....OK...but did you see they're out of stock on the pink ones!
.

Someones ingenius and making a few dollars!...Lucky ducks! Can I borrow few bucks from someone here?
I didn't see any for my Bitty Boo boy...he needs a toup'e and handle bar mustache and something to cover his Schnauezer, his is very large so will need a size triple X
oh baby oh baby! He's my lil man!

I think people who baby their animals, dress them up, carry around in baby carriers must have something wrong with them don't ya think? Or is it normal? Could be a "side'e" from having a serious B12 deficiency?
As you can see....B-boo has some serious hang up...nurses from our Lab every day of his life.
My cats may never get run over by a car, but certainly get eaten by coyotes way out here in the sticks!
Chemar...I'm glad prayers were answered and Shadow is home safe now. I wanna know how you keep yer kitties from breaking your goodies?
I can't keep anything around this house...got 3 fat kats chasing, play fighting up and down the stairs...they own this house!
Alie12....I'm sorry you don' have any kitties, but Jack must be pretty special. Post his picture...we wanna see!

Hands off kitty karrier! Confused Identity. Give me chee-chee or give me death!. Being a "Sir"rogot mother! How to sew a stinkin blind hem!
