Oh I'm so happy for you as well! Anyone who has lost a fur kid knows the anguish you endure as you search for your beloved one! Been there-done that...and I'm so happy for you!

Default Blue Russian?

OK, I'm back for a visit. I just about cried when I saw those pics! My favorite all time cat was named Jake,he looked exactly like Shadow (or was it the brother? anyway, the grey cat).

Jake had 9 lives for sure! He disappeared one day while I was on a trip. He was coyote savy so I've always suspected foul play (the human kind). He was the friendliest cat ever......used to visit the neighbor's until I called him home.

Yes,I also wonder how you have kittens around all that beautiful glassware? Is that Fostoria or depression glass?

And since I last posted we had to have out little terrier mix put down. Very sad but she lived a long happy life, almost made it to 15 yr old. So now down to just one big mutt & one grey tabby.

Also feed some feral cats. I have no desire to catch them however. But the info about borrowing a humane cage might come in handy someday so thanks to the person that posted that.

((((((((Buttons)))))))))

yes, I do think that Shadow and Twilight might have some Russian Blue blood in them
.

Shadow had two days of seizures (very mild....more like tremors in his limbs) after his return but is now doing just wonderfully. We do not let him outside at present
.
tho I imagine we will start doing so in a very supervised way eventually, but we are just far too nervous after what happened and knowing his limitations re vision and the neuro issues.

re the glassware....yes, most of it is Art Deco and Depression era as that is what I sell in my online stores and amazingly, all the kitties just seem to instinctively keep away from it....well....almost all.....Twilight sometimes tiptoes over one of the cabinets that has glass sitting all over its top
.
but he does it with the skill of a tightrope artist.......thankfully none of the others have tried to copy his antics yet
.

so sorry re your terrier
