. This video is on CuteOverload, and the blog there has a spirited discussion as to whether the noises this cat is making are real or faked? What do you think? I think they are real. I can recall (just not "where") hearing this sound before. We actually had a cat that talked...she would howl GOOINNNG... going...whenever we put her in her cage for a trip. Once she said NNNOOOOO GOOOINNNG! and totally freaked my husband out! Once Sheba came to me and said. WWAANNNA GOOOOO OOOO for want to go out! She also calls me MMAAAAA... She will go up to my husband and say MMMAAAA? and he will tell her...Ma's at the store, work etc. She started this when my son would come home from the school bus and yell MMMAAA! We think it is very funny! Oreo-- the one pictured in my new avatar-- makes a special sound for out....when she wants to go out, she says OUUUU OUUU... (Like on the WHO song Where are YOU...for CSI? "Where ARE you?....OOOUUU OOOUUU OOOUUU OOOUUU"... just like that. I've heard cats make strange sounds when eating. This one may be purring (a grooming sound) while licking the milk off the paw. It is not really "eating" in the conventional sense. What do YOU think? Real or faked?

Oh I think it's real Mrs. D! LOL how cute. No, I know people who have had cats that at least sound like they are talking.
One of my late best friends had a cat who called her "Momma" plain and simple! It was not fake. She also meowed normally like a cat and other noises they make. This friend had always called herself "Momma" to her cat. You know..."Momma loves you..." etc., etc. And that cat DID call her Momma!

How cute! I think it's real. You should hear my cat when he sees a bug. He talks to it in kitty talk. I can only imagine what he's saying! lol
I had another cat who hated water. When she was sick I had to bathe her and I swear she said "noooooooooo" everytime. lol My dog learned how to bark I love you and sometimes I swear I can hear "wuuuuuvvvvvv yyyoooooouuuuu" haha

alot of videos at YouTube with animals "talking" ...
Keyword dogs talking, cats talking... you'll have a great time. We sometimes take our laptop to social events (being the nerds that we are), and it never fails to create a stir when we demonstrate animal videos on YouTube! LOLOLOLOL

While The Little Prince is short on words, limitted to howling when he has used the loo and wants it cleaned
. , I have heard my friends cat make the strangest human-like sounds that sounded like words. I am more likely to question the source of where you saw this rather than actual possibility of such "cat talk". You see a lot of creative stuff posted on U tube. Best wishes. |

LOL! That is great!
We had a gold and white cat that talked his head off. If you upset him, he would yell at you! Our dau read something about this type of cat being very "vocal." Ironically, she just adopted a stray kitten with the same coloring who is also a "talker." I think it is likely real, but perhaps it could be slightly enhanced. It sure is cute! |

Tippy is sitting here next to my monitor now, so I ran the video
for HER.... she got pretty upset. Started looking around the the cat in the room. She does this when I play some cat videos. So I think we all agree now that the cat noises on the video are real! LOLOL

MrsD, I absolutely believe that cats can talk, and mine has. She says MaMa
and I can get mine to say MaMa. This is only at certain times and pretty much when I'm getting ready to feed him. I also have a golden retriever named Luke ( he's blind ) he is three years old and he says I LOVE YOU>Truely a believer, Doodle bug7 |
