Thanks Mrs. D!

(By the way, I LOVE those bluebells. They were my favorite flower as a child. Our neighbor had scads of them!)

Thanks Doody...
Our resident groundhog, Moe is starting to eat them! He drives me crazy! Most of the time he just eats dandylions, which we don't mind, but I get bent out of shape when he
eats my Mertensia!

And yeah, the eagle photos are just breathtaking!

The eaglets are exercising their wings now. The youngest is still sleeping alot, but the older two are sitting up at attention more each day.

It won't be long now that they branch out...and hang around the nest on adjacent branches. They can more or less eat by themselves now too.

This is when following the forum link to the Gardens comes in handy because the photographers there take pictures independently from the cam.

They are putting a radio transmitter on one of the eagles today...
right now if anyone wants to watch this.

Here is a link showing the transmitter on the eaglet....

Pretty interesting!

.

It was all done with virtually no stress to the bird.

The youngest eaglet fell out of the nest yesterday at about 6pm.

After flapping for a minute or two hanging on to the rim, she fell to ground...sort of glided and was not hurt. She was rescued by Reese, the biologist, and taken home for the night.

The tree service is coming this morning to put her back up there.
Right now the cam is down, but it should be back by then.

There is a dead spider on the lens, which makes a black blob, but still one can see quite a bit. I wonder if they will fix that today too? Maybe

OH NO!

I'm so glad the baby is okay!
