Unless he showed some kind of fear or aggression towards her I can't understand why she left......she sounds like a grump to me!!
.
I'm sure the poor dog is stressed out and might have been somehow marking his territory - telling her he wanted to go home with her!! I don't know.....but it'll work out like it's supposed to. There was some reason he wasn't supposed to go with her that day.

***maybe she deserved it!!!!

Well, you know what Kitty? My daughter said the same thing. After what he's been through, poor little guy. But the lady is retired and widow of a university professor. Live in a gorgeous home. She and her husband had had 2 westies in their lifetime who both died of old age. She was, well....not someone in my league, but seemed nice enough.

And HUA is a wonderful place with wonderful people. But I think a lot of people are shocked when, especially, they go into the smaller dog kennel. I don't know what I was expecting, but I guess it was that there would be all these doggies happily flitting about in the grass having a grand time.

But, they have to be penned when they are not out for their exercising. The small dog room has kennel after kennel after kennel. They are large, but shared by groups that have come in together. They are fed well and the volunteers take all of them out for exercise and play time. When it's warmer, they have wonderful facilities outside to walk, play, and exercise.

The larger dogs have a building with huge kennels with a lot of running space outside.

Thanks to the movie star that supports them, Charlize Theron (among others) they are building a new facility as we speak so that they can handle new dogs.

Jana Kohl is also a supporter. She is an amazing woman.
.

I still can't believe some of the dogs that have been there since I have known HUA...that still aren't adopted. I met a lot of them personally, and they are SO PRECIOUS!
