Hello All,
Does anyone have any experience with taking Gralise for SFPN? Could you please list the side effects or successes that you had? Did it help with the burning in the feet and hands? Did it make you a zombie the next day? I was prescribed this medication for SFPN and sciatic nerve pain yesterday but I am hesitant to begin taking it. I have been doing well with 25mg of Noritryptiline each night and taking supplements for healthy nerves along with a healthy GF diet. Most all of the burning in my feet was gone and I was able to exercise again for 5 months before I hurt my lower back 2 months ago now. Slowly between the stress of of lower back injury and a strained marriage, the burning is now back in my feet and I am experiencing fascillations more often again. Does anyone have SFPN that is totally exacerbated by sciatic nerver pain bilaterally? Thanks, N1 |

Gralise is just a form of gabapentin. It is modified so that it is absorbed better. It retains all the side effects that gabapentin has, including sedation, confusion and possible fluid retention.
Its advantage is that it works in lower dosing for most people.
