What a week I have had

It has been a long week! Some of you know but those of you don't my DD #2 had a scare last Saturday and ended up in the ER. At first they thought appendix, then Chron's, then a viral infection, then possible pelvic related and then finally it was decided on Tuesday it was a severe viral infection. It was a long 3 - 4 days let me tell you.

Then Christmas, my side of the family will be doing Christmas on Sunday (tomorrow) with Sabrina but DBF & I went and spent Christmas with his mom, one sister and her 2 kids. We have had lobster for the last 4 years that we have brought - Wedesday I went looking for lobster and there were none to be found within 70 miles of here. All sold out by noon time we were told. So we quickly changed plans to roast! What a bummer we were all looking forward to it.

I finally finished my shopping yesterday (I got a lot of bargins the day after Christmas) and today I am wrapping, laundry and cleaning the house for company tomorrow!

Thank you all for the Christmas wishes & Happy New Years. I will try to catch up soon and send them too! :o

I have certainly appreciated my board friends this last week. Knowing I haven't been around much lately but you were still there when I needed you. It is nice to have a special bond with friends that most you haven't even met yet.

Nothing worse than when something comes up with the kids. Hope she feels better soon, and you can relax!

I'm so glad you posted......and I'm sorry for all that you and DD have been through this past week. It's one thing to be sick ourselves....but when it's one of our children well, things just take on a whole new meaning. It's scary, I know. But I'm so glad they figured things out and that it's something fixable.

Glad you got your shopping done.....that's great that you got to take advantage of the after Christmas sales for your shopping! I think we're going to start a new tradition of celebrating the gift-giving part of Christmas after Christmas so we can get the really good sales!

Hope you enjoy your day with family tomorrow. Take care of yourself!

I did the same thing with the after Christmas sales Yabbit! While the man went by dogsled to the far north to get the child, I went shopping for Christmas! I got triple what I would have bought two days before, while staying well under budget!

I guess the lobster promo is working huh? The only thing that saved us was Hannaford having them for 3.99. My usual guy was out of all his leftovers as well as having all his orders picked up!

Have fun this weekend!

Peanut's two older sisters bought her some things (they are out on their own now) and by the sounds mum & dad got a few things for her too! I think knowing I was doing things they might not of wanted to look like fools to everyone else so they did a few things.

I just went and made sure the camera had fresh batteries for pictures!
