Hello, I have had RSD for about ten years now. I have had about 20 nerve blocks and numerous surgeries. I am currently dealing with the pain. Most of you know that is a day to day situation. My oldest daughter had RSD when she was nine and we thought she would never walk again. She has fully recovered and has been in remission for fourteen years. I am looking for a support group to help me on bad days and a place to feel like I am able to use something I have gained from:grouphug::Wave-Hello: all of this to help others. Someday we will win.

Iam a new member as well as a new "victim" ? ( that term disturbs me )
My physical therepist demanded that I present him with three positive things yesterday before I was allowed in the treatment room .The first one I offerd was that my children were not afflicted with this disorder.I endure the pain of therapy by reminding myself that I would do "anything " to endure this agony for my children
I can share your elation of your daughters recovery and am ashamed that I am here looking for consolation while others have displayed courage with this torture for a decade .
My PT says he has seen people recover and says that my odds of complete recovery are high . I hope the same becomes true for all others on this forum

I'm so sorry to hear that both you and your daughter suffer from RSD but am SO very glad to hear that your daughter is now in remission - that is sooo great and you must be over the moon!!! I really hope that things start getting better for you real soon and you arae in my thoughts!!!

I also suffer from RSD. I have it in my left leg and both arms - I developed it when I was 12 years old after an ankle sprain and am now 14. If you need anything, please dont hesitate to ask because I DO understand how scary it can be dealing with such an awful condition!!!!

Take care of yourself and I hope to see you around the forum more real soon!

Alison

She has gone on to attend a university. Yes I am very happy for her.
I hope to find someone to talk to here. It gets very lonely staying home alone a lot of the time. Thanks for your kind words.
