I've always wondered......why do they report power outages on TV?? :confused:

Why am I hot at night when I have the thermostat set at 64 and cold during the day when I have it set at 67?

i GET HOT, THROW OFF MY EXTRA QUILT, FREEZE AND HAVE TO PULL IT UP AGAIN. i WAKE UP REALLY HOT AGAIN LATER AND REPEAT. (attack of the caps) during day I put heat on higher when I expect kids in an hour or so.

Right now, I'm thinking, I hope DD and Grands can make it over here today....I am snowed in, noone came by to do my driveway and walks, this time. :eek:

I left a message on her AM to bring a shovel. I'm betting she was not amused. ;)

Right at this moment, I'm thinking...why can't I remember that important thing I wanted to post about? I just thought of it a couple of hours ago...stupid cognitive problems...:(

I am wondering if I will drive my kids crazy when I am older. :p

Im wondering why MS chose me! I am wondering when it will leave me alone, and just let me live my life. :(

I'm wondering what I'm going to do with this very expensive roll-top desk that we have that just sits here in the den. It's a perfect computer desk - for a 1993 era computer... Pre-wired with a built-in surge protector labelled for printer, monitor, etc.

Why can't I just ignore the little black and white kitten that has decided to hang around my back yard? I know if I feed him he'll just stay.....and I can't afford another cat. Yet.......I put food and water out anyway. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :o

I'm wondering if I might be bored. It's been a long time since I've been technically bored. I've been tired, spacey, not feeling up to doing anything. But not bored. Yup, I'll bet I'm bored.

DD and Grands made it today....no problemo..:D

Now I'm thinking how lucky I am!

I used to live for Friday. Now, Monday is my favorite day of the week.

Will I remember to do my shot tonight and should I open that bottle of wine?

Kelly's favorite day is the week is my least favorite.

I'm not sure I enjoyed the Super Bowl tonight 'cause I really don't even understand what a 1st and down is or a tight end or wide reciever. I do know that because we have a big screen TV my daughter will come over and she rarely comes over. That's what I enjoy. Well, I'll enjoy the snacks also! She now comes over most sunday night because we have a Wii and her washer/dryer went out. What ever it takes!

why dont I schedule my time better?! I knew I had appointments this morn, and yet, I didnt get to sleep till late, and now I want to putter like I have all day. why cant I get it in gear?

I didn't think the Super Bowl commercials were as consistently good as they've been in the past.

That's all I do all day is have random thoughts. How often am I allowed to post?

I'm suppose to have a thought??? :D It's snowing, kid in school, will I have to walk to school to fetch dear kid at 3PM ??? If this keeps up I will!! lucky only 1/4 mile away.... we're in north AL...no snow plows or salt trucks...and drivers do NOT know the rules for driving on slick/snowy/icy roads. Just looked out the window, snow has turned to sleet/rain and the sun is trying to break through the clouds :eek:! :D

I am thinking of moving to Austin, TX in two years. I can always leave for part of the summer and visit family in Ohio.

I'm wondering
1)why I'm agreeing to replace my kitchen cabinets...which will involve taking out the soffets above the old ones, sanding and refinishing the wood floors, buying new appliances, picking out lights, hardware, granite countertops, etc.
2)How I am going to keep dealing with my inlaws without exploding in anger. FIL has become a know-it-all, and isn't helping dealing with MIL's Alzheimers, which he doesn't believe she has. Also, they're both diabetic, their doc has lectured them about eating right, and when I look in their grocery bags, they have taffy apples (6!), potato chips, cookies, etc. Then when I tattle to their doc, she asks, "Why are you allowing them to buy that?" Try telling them that YOU'RE going to do their shopping. They're pulling at the bridle as they lose more and more control over their lives...that's why I want to explode. Whew! More of an obsessive rant than random thought...:rolleyes:

DH actually called his dad today and discussed issues with him...told him that he's going to take both of them to the neuro from now on, that it makes me so stressed that I'm having nightmares about it (true). Also berated him on them eating so poorly when they both are diabetic. He told him, "Mom has poor pulse in her feet as it is, do you want her to have her feet amputated?" Oh no, I'll make sure she eats better. But SHE'S on meds...he's not!

Oh, well. Random thought...it's so quiet with the TV off tonight...why do I have it on at all ever? It's so nice...I can hear the slow grinding of the rusted gears in my brain trying to get thoughts out...:rolleyes:

Started snowing here. May have 5 inches by morning.

Random thought. The only way I would go on Wheel of fortune is if my husband went on with me. Why would I go with my best friend or whoever and then have to split the winnings? I want it all!!!!! And my DH and I are good at it!

Why do I get so upset when I think about grocery shopping? I get stressed by all the lights, noise, pushy people, lane hogs, and smelly folks. (perfume and smokers!) I need food!, but I dont want to go!

I am pondering why my mother is so hard to deal with. However, I know I will never be that way with my children.

I am wondering why cleaning makes it more of a mess than when i started. I am wondering if it is ever going to stop snowing and if the kids will ever go back to school, and DH2B can go back to work. Looks like they are both off for the rest of the week.

I really, really dislike mean people. :mad:

If they cannot say something nice (or neutral) about someone else then they should keep their mouth closed.

How long will it take for the government to give me my tax refund? I filed and am supposed to receive it in 8-14 days. Bet it'll be more like 8-14 weeks...

Why is the doubel O pronounced differently in food, wood and blood?

why is my DH always in a hurry in the AM?! where are we going to? what the hurry? is he late for work? we are retired! let me drink my tea! Trash day is the worst!
