New 2021 thread, lets have a great one!
 

Well I had a interesting end to 2020. I'm hoping for no more of
those. Derrick spent the night of December 29th from 11:30 to 4:00am
the next morning in ER. WIth a kidney stone. And now is on antibiotics.
And were working to get into a urologist for a recheck.

So it kind of messed with his plans for New Years efe. He slept all day
night and the next day pretty much. but he is good. And we are now
back at his house today. After spending the weekend at my house.

My Granddaughter Harmony turned 4 on the 27th of December she
is getting so big. She had a great birthday , and christmas. We had
a great christmas with Meluvja, Devin and William. And Derrick too.

you could always go to the library, ours has many computers and maybe yours does too?

Yes, Our library has one computer because its small.

But I need to spend some time on the computer doing my
job because were virtual now. So between my things I can
do off the computer and on. I have to spend about 5 hours a
day doing things.

So I try to get my things done. At least two to three days on
Computer.

I'm not sure if he did for sure. But guessing he might have.
Waiting on urologist to call back with appointment. But I can
get his errands run too. Also we need his care set up so he can
start to work on weight and health to.

Derrick still hasn't passed the kidney stone, took him to urologist on thursday.

He is doing pretty good, and feeling good. Doctor says he doesn't need the medicine now. Just to watch for the fever, if he gets one to go straight to
er.

He is studying for his servsafe right now.

I am sorry he has not passed the stone yet, maybe he won't feel it when he does.

Yes, I'm pretty sure he wont, its gone done further now.

The doctor gave a strainer catcher so that hopefully he can catch it.

Ps. One of our places we like eating, but the bread isn't good for him, is SUbway, today they have a new bowl, and its great for him. So we will probably go
more often.

Today is the 11th of January and Derrick got some really good news.

He received $1000 dollars from the Letters to Santa for his Bocce Ball
starting for Special Olympics so we have a start now.

Yes, this was mainly Derrick I helped him write the Dear Santa letter.

And he was surprised when he get the money or will get it. Its so
nice when things go the way you hope.

My sisters, Husbands dad who has been a family friend for years has
been sick for years. Died of a brain tumor I believe it is last night.
I realize even though its sad, and his wife wont know what to do for
a while he is in a much better place now.
No more pain.

He was Derrick's only like grandpa, my nephew always told Derrick he could share his grandpa, since he didn't have any. My dad died when he was a month old. It was so nice.

Sorry, just realized it had been a while since I posted. I have been busy.
And then I took the weekend away from the computer.

I'm fine just cold, which isn't me. Heehee, I'm usually hot. But that
is okay. I'm in a different than usual house. Derrick's house is different'
temperatured than mine.

I hope this week finds you having a good week. Were honestly bracing
for snow. Ugh, anywhere from 4 to 8 inches it seems. Right now were
at my house. Since my husband got me new internet last week and
after a busy week.

Me too, having to learn its new quirks. Having had the old for so
many years I knew it very well.

This morning my work phone was cutting in and out with a client.
I'm hoping it was just all the snow we got. But will have to watch
that have never had that problem that I remember.

But it could be because it needs used too. Had some trouble when
first using this new stuff too.

Yes, I'd say maybe 8 to 10 inches or so. Not sure. Maybe more.

Anyway it was a mess, still is.

a friend of mine in the pocono area got 21 inches!!!!!

the terrace has high walls sort of so no drigts.
the tylenal p..m has given me two hours of extra sleep! I think I am now getting around five hours,

I used to use tylenol pm for sleep for 2 years then it puttered out.
glad that it helped you, 5 isn't enough hours but it is better than what you have been getting so am happy for you.

Were having another winter storm right now. This time were going
to get below zero temperatures. I took Derrick home yesterday, because
he had to take his servsafe test, which he got a 100% on. yah. And has
an neurology appointment on Monday. And is going to fast so he can
have his blood work done. Then he has a vocational rehabilitations:hug::grouphug: meeting
later in the week.

I have lots of meetings next week so I'm really hoping my new internet
works well. We will see my work phone isn't working the best but I'm
hoping its the getting used to the new internet. Its coming in and out.

I've never had that happen so not sure what to do.

I am excited about the chamomile supplements and they may help stop my hunger. I don;t know what gives but the scale dropped three pounds.

Okay I haven't posted in a while I don't think I just forgot.

I forgot to tell everyone that Derrick finally got to take his
servsafe test last Thursday he passed with a 100%. Wow even
better than the first time he took it. I'm honestly not surprised
he had been studying pretty much most of the time. The problem
was the website kept not liking him.

Its my work phone. Its just got a long wait time. And its making people
think I'm not there. So my husband has a phone that was not being used.
That he doesn't want to lose the number for. Hard to explain.

So I'm going to use it to not use my regular cell phone.

I'm ready for a nice few days. Its been a really bad few days.

I lost my furnace on Sunday finally Dale got it started again on Sunday
afternoon, but it was still cold that night. It wasn't working right.

He finally got it fixed when it got day light on Monday and its been
working somewhat since. We will need a new furnace this spring.

But its too bad around here now to get a furnace. So he is putting
in a secondary furnace, and a small space heater. Which is keeping
it pretty nice in here.

So its okay.

your husband is sure handy! I wish this winter would go away.
I feel badly for my family living in Indiana.lots of snow and frigid weather.
We have had hard freezes the last 2 nights. Snow and ice That stuck around for a couple of days.It is going to be very cold again tonight. It starts to rain tomorrow will warm up a bit but have rain and winds up to 20 mPH.

Yes he is. He can do lots of things. Its one of the reason's I don't think
he would like being retired. Anyway its much nicer tonight than
Sunday was. We will see how things go.
