November time for a new thread....

halloween was great fun and the kids loved the decorations and special effects, fog machine, crank ghost, skeletons on the roof! spiders in the trees hanging bat in the bush, in the yard full of tombstones, hanging ghouls, lots of kids and parents complemented us, we were dressed as dead bride and groom. this old wedding dress is falling a part but I love it. It is too small and I can only breath shallow breaths so when it is time to be done I can hardly wait to unzip it and be able to breath fully. I can only imagine what it must have been like to wear a corset.
WE use face paint to make us look dead and wear black long wigs with gray streaks.
my hubby is 6'5" with a top hat, he is scarey to the little kids. He wears a wireless mic and transforms his voice over a speaker at the house...we are in the yard. WE play spooky music!
Toward the end of the evening Unfortunately The crank ghost got damaged by one of the kids, pulling on it. jeff was able to un wrap the motor and thinks he can salvage her, christine.. Next year we will section off the garage so that they can't get to her. She was a new prop for this year and expensive so that was really disappointing.Afterward we went to our friends house walked 4 blocks there it was cold. His yard was very nicely done, kind of like disney. he decorates all month long. Had a nice visit then went to a local bar met friends and had drinks and just shared stories and enjoyed our selves. IT was a very fun halloween!

Bizi,

I love Jake Gyllenhall but the pictures of this movie show his so him so skinny and so freaky (intense). Did you enjoy his performance?

It's a litte cooer here that it has been and that is a good thing. It feels late this year. We can usually get reasonable temperatures in the day time by October. It took most of Oct to get to that place.

Pizza is fun.

I happy to hear that you are taking care.

Today is day one for my drinking. I have been slowly putting on weight again and it is from so much drinking. so it is time to give it a break.
Wish me luck please, it helps me to be accountable here.

I got to give out treats this year for Halloween! Yaaay! :) Later I wished I'd prepared and dressed up as something. The kids love that stuff. I am glad you had a good time Bizi. Sorry they broke yall's ghost though. Yes fence her in next year.

I wish you well on the AF quest. I'll look forward to your success stories in this November thread. :)

Keeping my fingers crossed bizi. Report back at the end of every evening. :)
The immediacy of accountability works well.

that is great waves!!!!!
sounds like fun!
I have been updating my medical journal of sorts a one page document that I created showing my medical history, meds, and tests etc. I have many md visits the next 30 days. Pap, mammo with screening ultra sound, colonoscopy consult and prcedure soon, right thumb evaluation by OT this week(with treatments of unknown duration), my pdoc ordered labs but they are too soon, am allowed them one time a year so will have my Mdoc order them when I see her the 26th and then just give a copy to my pdoc when I get the results.
I have happened to use all of my time rewritting this doc tonight, there were several things wrong that I should have caught but no harm done, I guess I am just being really picky about up dating it since I am going to be seeing a new doc. I want to bring it with me to use to fill out the forms etc.
I wanted to get all of my appointments out of the way, our insurance changes the beginning of the year, we then will have a $4000 deductible!

I poured the last black cherry mikes hard lemonade down the drain.
Felt good. Think I will be Alcohol free for a while....

I walked 7 miles on the tred mill today. Last night I had a friend come over to look at the house decorations that are still up and she agreed to walk the cajun cup 10 k this coming weekend! yeah! So I won't be walking it alone!!!

ate well today: brunch was the usual scrambled eggs with spinach and black bean salsa. and A side of brocolli.
Dinner was curried chicken salad and some butternut squash soup and a creole tomato. YUMMY!
I am a bit peckish right now so may have to have a bite of something like a piece of cheese.
chewing gum with xylitol is good for my teeth and keeps my mouth busy....
though my jaws hurt after a while.
Need to finish the med history sheet and print out a good copy.
nite all
thanks for reading

Hi, Bizi,

That's a lot of important work.
Good job taking care of the medical stuff before the new plan starts.

I thought I read a while ago that cheese helps teeth -- can't remember for sure.

Here it is:
Cheese may prevent cavities
