Doody you came immediately to mind this morning. We only had a tad of snow and then it changed to rain. Now they are talking bitter cold tonight and tomorrow....think I will make bean soup. :wink:

Just heard on the news that Madison,Wisconsin got 17 inches of snow....sending positive thoughts to little sister there. Yikes!

I was thinking about Doody last night and Gma Sue too..... sending warm hugs and prayers for safety..... I have several relatives in Missouri and Kansas who also got hit with this weather.... My cousin who is a teacher is excited that they called a snow day today LOL :) :hug: :hug: :hug: :hug:

Here in Oklahoma its just very windy with below zero wind chills.....

Here it is bitterly cold. I doubt it's risen above freezing for a week now.

How strange for an Oregon winter to be clear and frozen instead of grey and soggy.

The weather really is strange....Texas had some snow before we did. :confused:

the wind is getting so strong here...we are surrounded by trees that are over 100 yrs old....hope they remain upright. :o

I wish Doody and GmaSue would ck in...hope they have power & heat.

it is about 86 sunny :p and almost near hot out. so BMW is sending train loads of Florida sunshine to each and everyone shut in by the snow and cold.
Ya'all stay safe warm . I am going to take some cold meds and zonk myself out I feel yulky doody . Ha and I know doody has been feeling pretty yulky doody too so... I am now entering her zone of not feeling good . catch you on the flip flop side.

More cruelty -- it was at least 68 degrees here at one point! Now, the predictions are warning of lows down into the 20s for the next two nights.

Yes, we LOVE snow here in the deep South 'cause we have the warmth and the bitter cold but rarely that beautiful white blanket -- LOL!

Do hope that all are safe. Will be checking back for news of Doody and GmaSue!

It's 22 here and the temp is falling.
There's light, very light, snow flurries and the flakes are streaming HORIZONTALLY. The wind is so horrible the snow can't fall down!!
