Tylenol Recall

Plain Tylenol caplets are under recall.

(I assume this is the same stuff I have been using, ugh. Of course I just took some last nite, and feel totally hung over this morning.)

Here is more. It is more than Tylenol. Benadryl is involved as is Motrin and other brand name products, including baby aspirin.

It is hard to find information on the coumpound, 2,4,6-tribromoanisole. It is apparently as versatile as many of the presriptions on the market today. It is a phenolic compound, used as a fungicide, wood preservative and flame retardent in plastic.

I suppose it ought to cure my fungal infections, mummify me and keep me from imploding. I bet it is good for me too.

The ironic thing is I went from constipation to intermittent cramping and loosey, and never made the connection. Hmm. Well, no sense getting undies in a bunch....this is just one of many things we ingest, knowingly or unknowingly.

I wonder what is in my rice cakes.

Here is the FDA list, along with the lot numbers:

Thankfully, I do not have any of this. I use Execedrin Migraine for my headaches, Aleve and Ibuprofen..none of which are made by this lab.

So the question is, do I get my 6 bucks back?

darlindeb25 01-17-2010 11:02 AM

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, good question.

cyclelops 01-17-2010 11:43 AM

Oh, and the toilet paper I used. I figure one package ought to cover it.

Hello,
And the latest study shows Ginkgo Biloba does nothing for memory enhancement,, but it does thin the blood, I don't use any pain relievers that contain Acetaminophen such as Tylenol

cyclelops 01-17-2010 04:14 PM

It's fine. I don't have the recalled lot numbers. Must have eaten something bad. Perhaps I drank too much green tea.

darlindeb25 01-18-2010 08:03 AM

Well, they do say green tea helps you lose weight...I didn't think that was what they meant. Maybe I won't try that route!:p
