Tired at 9 pm, wide awake at 11 pm - why???
I am hoping that you all will be able to provide me some insights. My daughter can be totally wiped out at 9 pm, head to bed try to to sleep but can't and then gets a major second wind at 11 pm or midnight? Any ideas why? Could this be adrenal fatigue? Other ideas?
It's 1:25 AM and she is WIDE awake! I just don't know how we are going to get this sleep under control so she can someday go back to school. Maybe I should send her to Hawaii where is is only 10:25... |

First start keeping a diary of the time she is wiped out. All day and evening. Say she gets up in the morning at 9Am. And then needs a nap at 11am. Then is totally awake at 1pm. Then needs more sleep or is wiped out by 4pm. This may be something that is happening all day. Do this for say a 2 week period. Also keep a record of the caffeine she eats and drinks. And if she isn't having any. Then it might be a thing to have her try some before she goes to sleep at night. This worked for my son. Then take this diary to her doctor. Explaining she isn't sleeping at all well. They may chose to do a sleep study or give her something to help sleep. Donna |

I didn't think of it before. But you also might try a massage therapist for her. Its something that has helped me a lot. Just like physical therapy helped me. It was because of the balance issues. Donna |
