Perineum issues ?

About 2 weeks ago I got a sharp pain down in the left side of my perineum .
Since then ,the pain is a dull aching and constant, it seems like the pain is getting worse . 7 years ago , I had a Fistula repaired, and I also in the last couple of years , have had a fissure pop up and heal on its own,,the Last DR I saw during the exam, noted some scar tissue which explained the recurrance,,so to keep healthy ,i just had to stay away from peanuts and such, which would cause another episode,
But , what im feeling now feels different,,dull aching pain,,cramping,,sometimes a sharp stabbing pain,,pressure, expecially if i cough or sneeze,,Its too low to be a hernia,,but my pelvic floor muscles have radiating pain , But consistant pain on the left side ,,,,,Sitting and lying down does not bring relief,,
I looked into possible prostate [prostatitis] and Pudental nerve entrapmet/neuralgia....when I researched the P.N it said that prolonged pain could lead to CRPS..{great]....Im taking cipro and saw-palmetto and advil as a precaution,,,,Any insight and Idea's are welcomed,,,,I havent read anything about migration in that area, although I can only pray that its not,,,thanks ,,,,,,,,,,,,,bobber

My friend...I know you are nervous the our friend may present itself anywhere, I understand it may..I am not sure what this constant pain is but it sounds familar esp. with the jabbing, constant part of it...if you have internal involvement..possibly..I just want yo remind you to have patience and try to keep calm..can you call a pain or RSD Dr. just to ask the question of possibility?? Or your gP just to rule everything else out..or even the dr.'s office who did the last Dr. who diagnosised scar tissue shed some light on this eve if he is not profiecent with RSD???? In the mean time..our family here will take care of doubts also, I am sure..but what I really want to do is remind you how strong you are my friend..gotcha back this time...remain positive ..I wish I was more helpful in finding the answer...I do know each time i have another fluke thiong ..pain crept up I wonder oh no!!! ESP. cuz both you and I have the aggressive RSD form in common....

Bobber....Bobber...Bobber, what are we going to do with you? I am with our friend KS, try to relax, call your doctor and have it checked. According to your history, it could be a couple of things or maybe nothing but your nerves and anxiety. I told you about the stomach problems that I was having, for years I just knew this spread to my stomach and then found out I had celiac disease. Nothing to do with the causalgia. Take a deep breath, relax and go to the doc and find out why this is bothering you. I know you have a lot on your plate, and you were hit with the aggressive form of this disease within a very short period of time. You need to take time to accept this for what it is or what you know it to be, trust me on this one. You know there are alot of people with this type of RSD that spontaneously go into remission. That is what keeps me going. This disease is not for the weak, actually almost all of the posts that I have read, most people were very athletic and active prior to this disease. It is a breathtaking adjustment to say the least. You are a strong man, do not fall prey to this. Hold your faith and remember that we care. God Bless, as always, I will keep you in my prayers.

Jeanie
