Does anyone have any documentation RE: TOS affecting your back and legs??

Hi All,

I have a QME on Friday with a Dr. (on my side) who has a reputation for not believing that TOS can also affect your back and legs. I have a new computer that I am still figuring out ( I went to MAC and I don't think they are that easy!! :Hum: ) Anyway, Hubby took the old p.c. down for me as I didn't think about possibly needing it to find info. I'd stashed away... :Sigh:

If anyone has something I can take with me to support my position I'd really appreciate it if you could send it my way.

Thanks in Advance!! :Thank you:

Gromlily ~ :D

A month or two ago someone posted a diagram of how TOS affects the rest of back and spine alignement. When I saw it I was like that is exactly how it feels.

I will try to look for it.

It makes my siatica worse because the spasms if TOS area pull rest of back out of whack.

Hope that helps.

this site definitely shows a relationship between pinched nerves and back pain/spasms.

If you can argue that TOS is a case of piched nerves, it may help. I also bumped one of Di's posts about posture.

I need to learn how to bump

Thanks Johanna

The chiro had a new poster on his wall the other day.

I showed the various vertebra/nerves as those usually do -but also had extra.
It showed the C spine and which ones could affect the eyes, throat, heart, lungs-- was nice to see it related like that.
Actually it showed the whole spine but I didn't get all the way down to the lower body cause doc came in for my tx.

not knowing the whole works... do you think it may be RSD/CRPS this a lot of times joins TOS in beating the body up and there is no limit as to what may be taken over... I personally have involvement in my chest arms and back... At times I get pain/numbness across my chest down my arms (heart attack symptoms) this is in relation to RSD/CRPS clothes hurt, cold burns... guess there is no real guidelines where this wonderful stuff takes place <UMMMPH>

Jo I think I have a copy of that chart. Want me to PM?
