traps question

my left trap feels jellyish

i dont have muscles so i dont know if this is "normal" but its on the side with my raised rib  do you all with raised ribs have this sensation?

i dont think i have trgr pts there and its not warm so does that mean its not inflammation? my pt has never felt it and said oh thats inflamed but sometimes its squishy and sometimes its rock hard (spasm?) this did not happen until i started lifting weights and nerve glides which i have stopped. thank god!

Normal muscle is pliable in most cases, so I don't know how the jelly-ish feel would compare to the normal or ??

yes, muscles that are hard /firm or bumpy/lumpy is usually spasms & or trigger points if specific small sore spots

my forearm muscles were described as ropey by PT during the worst times.

Now they seem to have lentil sized bumps along the tendons or muscles - but they don't hurt or seem to be an issue so haven't had them checked out.

Good Morning mspennyloafer and Jo*mar, my traps are rock hard, bulging and warm to the touch(inflamation?), and have been since my 3 level ACDF in 2009, these symptoms have never went away (its just relentless) I attend physio 2 times a week and massage once a week which causes me pain as I hurt to be touched with any type of pressure, as well I have bulges in my biceps which are visual, about the size of a sm lime(bilaterally)my elbows, forearms and hands consistantly have a deep achy burning pain and the pins/needles, numbness sensations drives me insane and is worse at night, keeping me awake, I could not lift weights even if I tried, some days just lifting up my coffee cup hurts. Sometimes I think I should have the posterior foramintomy(?) to have the osteophytes(C4-C5, C5-C6)removed and have C3-4 fixed, and what ever they need to do to get rid of this TOS crap cause it hurts like h***, but I'm scared to death to have more surgery (ugh).
Take care, Bunz

My bumpy-lumpies have seemingly desensitized and decreased in size. Kind of void feeling... better than painful

you use the LED, right?

Does yours have the infrared effect?

The lights helped those bumpy-lumpies get to the stage they are now.
