Packing and cleaning out the fridge this morning as we are moving down the beach for three more days of this wonderful sunshine before returning to the grey skies and snow, known as northern Indiana. *grin

Very much looking forward to a great Cobb Salad on one of the water taxi stops this afternoon. Thinking about you Barb...:hug: We are having gusty winds today so the weather people are talking about rip tides...:eek:

I am hoping that Addy is feeling better...tried to wonder about lots of people here yesterday and lost a bunch when I tried to edit. (((Doody))) (((Ducky))) & Lonely1 :hug: to name a few. Also hoping Bizi will feel better as she heals from a fall. :Heart:

Hi Alffe.... I tried to write a lot of wonders that disappeared yesterday too! I think it was something I hit on my keyboard and I can't blame anyone but me!

And now I don't have the energy to wonder but I'll say that I'm doing much better because after venting here I stood up to my boss and told him that talking to me with disrespect is unacceptable! Stopped him in his tracks! :D

I'm looking forward to a weekend with Grand-Addy after a long day of work. She certainly is experiencing the terrible twos! While trying to get her ready to see her Daddy and go swimming, she stood in front of me defiantly... hands on her hips and said: "My hands are on my shirt! I'm angry".... :p
LOL.... I followed her around the apartment with my camera hoping to catch it on video but no luck... instead I chuckle to myself with the memory... God I love her! And I still have no idea what she was angry about... doubt she even was! :rolleyes:

Your vacation sounds wonderful Alffe... we all are experiencing weather extremes and keeping warm up here. The sun is out right now!

well, I am feeling a bit better. I promised the Kid that I would take him to dinner ( never felt less like going out to eat, but a promise is a promise).Not really doing a lot more than that. Just too wiped out from the flu.

Alffe...we are under flood watches and warnings and may have severe weather tonight. And I still don't wanna be in Florida. LOL. I just don't like it much. Ah well, springtime in KY is an experience in itself....

glad you are feeling better Ducky and spring has a way to showing up eventually and lifting our spirits. I'm looking out the 12th floor window of our hotel and seeing 4 cruise ships in port...Alure I think is the name of the huge one...our oldest daughter and her family are going on it later this month. Also seeing some pelicans "flying in formation"...they crack me up!

Addy I think you are right...it's something I do to lose my edits..don't know how or what. :rolleyes: Good job with the boss!!! Never suffer in silence.

Going to visit a friends church this morning. :) Gotta call the dentist tomorrow. I broke a tooth last night eating dry cereal.... should have known better. LOL

hmmm worked the floor today and again tomorrow, surgery on tues and fri. We are expecting 2 large snow storms in the next 48 hours and about 14 inches of snow:eek::eek::eek:

Alffe, dinner out was...exhausting. LOL. I tried really hard to be upbeat, but I was so tired and trying to hide it. LOL. But the Kid had a blast, got to eat steak AND shrimp AND chicken AND ice cream. That was fun to watch.
Went back to work this morning. Man am I tired. The flu seems to have abated but it's left me so beaten down.
My brother is going to fix the brakes on my car (Kathy lent me hers until I could get mine fixed) and I think I should be caught up.

Duck is working too much... and so is pooh.... and goofy eats cereal that sounds like rocks!

I'm pooped ... with a blanket on me... Grand-Addy is down for a nap then its off to the ocean to feed the seagulls with her Daddy here, too!
