Life at Donna's,

Hi everyone, have some updates

First I finished hopefully my PT yesterday. I seem to feel a lot better
most of the time.

Now for some help, if you folks that know the alternative herbs.
I need to find something that works like Cymbalta. I need to cut down
on the price of this drug if possible.

I also need to know if there is anyone that knows the area of Indiana to
Washington State. My husband and I are driving. And it will not be pretty
I imagine. Heehee

But its our vacation, even though Derrick is out of school. He is staying
home with some friends of his and ours. And going to summer school and
work.

But I want to have some things that might help us have fun. He thinks
we can sleep in either a small car or the van. I have news for him, it
wont be happening much. I like hotels lots better.

This is my vacation. And that is the plan.

Donna,

Are you going to take Interstate 94 to Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, North Dakota, Montana? That is one way to go.
You could visit the Mall of the Americas in Minneapolis.
The Mountains of Montana are gorgeous.

Donna,
Are you taking Cymbalta for depression?

Walmart sells some anti-depressants for $4.00 for a 30 day supply.

http://www.cockeyed.com/citizen/generics/generics.php

AMITRIPTYLINE (Elavil)
BUPROPION ER (Wellbutrin)
CITALOPRAM (Celexa)
DOXEPIN HCL (Sinequan)
FLUOXETINE (Prozac)
NORTRIPTYLINE (Aventyl, Pamelor)

You need a doctor's prescription.

Dear Donna

I also used the reviews from the trip advisor when we had to go to my uncle's funeral last spring. there are a several review sites - it is one of the better ones with other integrated services bizi mentioned.

no sleeping in the daymobile. i say you get to sleep in a bed every night of your trip... maybe four poster with canopy... ;) mmmmmmm...

Yes, technically I take it for anxiety. But I also believe I take it
slightly for depression at times. But the primary that originally put
me on it.

I think realized that it is used for pain in muscles and things. And thought
it would be helpful for me. It has been very helpful. And I'm worried
about switching, but with it being I believe my pharmacy said, $191.00.

I am not sure I can afford it and all the others.

If only it were a generic like lots of the others. I have considered
a couple others. And should have brought it up at my doctor's appt
on Tuesday. But didn't

My adventurous friend...I like a bargin but too old and broken to sleep in a car. We are going to visit my step daughter this weekend for dh birthday and I found a hotel, but we may stay with her a night. I want to stay on the Canada side Fri.
I hear ya about the anxiety, I have few ativan left but too short term. My Lexapro was $80 not sure on this plan...thought I could do without. I can't. I may try the Clonopin just to take the edge off.

It may not take up too much room in the car for a nice air bed and Walmart tent. We did that many years ago...but only 30 at the time and not broken. Just for a back up it may be better then a car..

I use AAA for a trip pik, and also do a google maps for trips, then there is the GPS. Our Garmin that says recalculating faster then I can warn of an upcoming turn....
Have tons of fun.

Dear Donna

the only other drugs i can think of similar to Cymbalta which also treat pain are all newer, therefore non generic, and very expensive! Lyrica is the one that comes to mind.

i believe you already take gabapentin right? but if not, and the reason you was it because it pooped out on, you could try that again, provided there has been a decent period of time (year min) when you did not take it.

 enjoy your little vacation

Yes, I am on Gab and have wondered if I could make due with just
that.

I'm working on what to do. My husband likes to think he is helping
with things. Then he will decide that he has no extra.

Heehee, that is normal for him though.

I just have three that need filled now. And I should have known
better than to wait for all three at once.

But alas that is life.

Lyrica is a great drug, but there is no generic and it's very expensive. I switched back to gabapentin when I went on medicare because I'd be in the donut hole too quickly.

Please look into the Walmart and CVS plans. You can get some real savings.

I hope you have a great trip! I'm with you... motel/hotel all the way. I'd rather sleep in a tent than in a motor vehicle.
