My Friends Up North Look Out!!!

It's bone chilling cold here in the southern end of the mountains and I can see the wind aiming your way. My RSD is flaring up bad so I know you'll be in for it. Good luck and stay warm...

We are located right on the snow rain line near DC. Today we had plans to head to a reunion of Southern Maryland's high school attendees from the 60s and 70s at the American Legion close to North Beach Md. Suzy is sick from this weather, and may not happen. :(

Jim,
By southern Maryland do you mean inland by D.C. or the outer peninsula north of VA?

Hi Jimbo,
Thanks for the warning...I knew from last night how I felt (every joint hurt, I could not walk, and my rt foot was burning like crazy) that today was going to be a mess. Here in Southeastern PA (near Philly) we had heavy rain early this morning, then snow, then hail, and it just turned back to all snow now. Amazing. Funny thing is last night ALL the weather forecasters were saying only about 2 inches of snow here but not until 9-11 pm tonight. I however knew it would be sooner and heavier haha. The snow started at 10 am today (which freaked all the weather people out) lol and our snow totals are supposed to be 6-8 inches now. This is crazy weather for sure and thanks to my rsd doppler radar I had a heads up it was coming!! And thanks to you I knew it was on its way. Hope everyone stays safe and warm in this crazy weather.
Take care,
kathy d

Just southeast of DC on the Chesapeake Bay, about 45 miles perhaps from DC. You're referring to eastern shore or Delmarva, which means Delaware, Maryland, Virginia. I live in Fairfax VA, a suburb of DC. Suzy and I have had our eyes set on moving to the Delmarva, we love the water, low stress life etc. :)

Ohhhh. One more thing I forgot. Tomorrow the Eagles are playing and it should be fun and cold with the crisp air. I love football season!! Of course I will be sitting on my sofa with a cup of tea and lots of covers and my dog will be cuddled up next to me (He is a Chihuahua and likes warm weather). See winter is good for some things...just remind me of this in Feb/March when I am about to scream lol.

I used to deliver Deltech homes and I remember delivering one around Princess Anne south of Salisbury, MD and I thought it was nice. Had great seafood I remember...
