Do you sweat?
This issue has been recently raised in my life. #1 about the time I started with this whole MS thing my body temp fell. I sit at about 96 now and have found many MSrs say the same, that they have a low body temp.
Do you sweat? I find that I have not been a sweat person for about a decade now. I remember working hard, and sweat dripping from my forehead, but round about the time MS started setting in, I stopped. it slowly backed off. I would glow or glisten and then I would barely get moist during even the hotest of days or the hardest of work outs. As years passed my face got redder and redder. my body started to blush in areas like my chest and my arms, but I didnt seem to be releasing the heat. I would fall asleep and get into a sound sleep and then. pour the night sweat but nothing during the day. isnt that odd? I would get so hot during walks I would go blind, but not sweaty. Hubby beside me dripping, and I am dry. Anyone else? Now that I am seeing this naturopath she brought it to my attention that I NEED to sweat, and she has been working with my body to rebalance it. Lately during my walks I am sweaty, and while its gross, its kind of a relief to know that I am starting to release the heat I build up. |
I was a blusher as a kid, never much of a sweat-er. Got menopausal night sweats but little sweat during any day of my life. I think there is a correlation. Mosquitoes seldom bother me either.

Even though my body temp is about a degree lower than normal, I sweat as soon as I move...and drip like crazy while others only "glisten"...very frustrating...:rolleyes:

Nope- never was a big sweater but now just sometimes at night. I will am so curious how she is getting you to sweat again. That is great!

Like you Dej, used to drip, now life is "no sweat" :D Well, I do perspire under my breasts and where my legs fold, but not under the arms and no underarm stinky anymore.
Weird dam disease..:rolleyes::eek::mad: |
I hardly sweat.....but then again I'm usually inside in the A/C. The only time I ever wear anti-prespirant is when I go out for an extended time and even then I really don't need it. It's more for just-in-case protection than anything else. At home....during the day when I'm not going anywhere.....I don't wear it. Now, if I was able to, let's say, cut the grass in the summer heat I'm sure I'd sweat.

Oh boy do I sweat!! I never glisten anymore, its a down right water fall... so embarrassing!!
|
I'm sure it's annoying for those who do sweat......but at least you're ridding your body of toxins and other things that need to be flushed out.

Mostly my face sweats. I get damp all around (is that "glistening?) or if I lean up against something solid, like a plastic chair. Sweat will run into my eyes and off my nose when working outside in heat.

Glad to know im not the only weird one in the group. A question of "how does she get you to sweat" was asked. She told me my lymphatic system was blocked up, and she is "opening channels" she is giving me a lympathic treatment fluid that I spread on my chest 3x a day. have no idea whats in it, and im not gonna read the tiny print. Would need a super duper magnifier to see it.
For the first time in a while I woke up sweaty. its very humid out tho. I am wondering if that did it, but it reminded me of days gone by. ok, im off to sweat on my walk. |
