Sleep
I have been having insomnia. I go to bed around ten and then wake up between 2:30 and 4:00. It feels like my brain pressure wakes me up. Sometimes I doze a little off and on but i am mostly awake and i need to be out of bed by six. And then like today I get to work at seven and work straight through til four, barely surviving, just pushing through.
And I rested all weekend. Did nothing. Should I ask the doc for sleep meds? And no I don't have time for naps either. I take magnesium in the eve. Su seb |
Try eating a brazil nut. I just heard on Dr Oz that the Selenium in one Brazil nut will help for people who wake up too early.
He's had a lot of food remedies lately for brain issues sleep problems and today for anxiety. I should have been taking notes. I'll try and get the info and do a post if I can find some energy. Try that. Certainly can't hurt! CC |
I used to have insomnia, even sleeping tablets didn't help I still woke up, it wasn't until I was prescribed an antidepressant that I have started sleeping properly, now I get a full nights sleep.

I take ambian 10 mg for sleep and it works very well. I would ask for a sleep medication as not getting proper sleep causes major problems in itself.
I had insomnia for years before asking for a sleep med and I wish I would of done it sooner. You could try less drastic measures first such as melatonin, sleepy time tea and like CC suggested more natural methods. If these work that would be the best way to go. If not, yes ask for a sleep med. brain |
