shoulder questions
so in resting position my shoulders look fairly "normal" just bony but moving they do this
http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2683/chy7.png sometimes it wings less, i can control but fatigue really easily. i had a ncv of my nerves median/ulnar and they all came back normal but i was wondering, since the ulnar and median go up thru my bp..does this mean my bp is okay too? 2 years ago i had a ncv AND emg, i dont know what musclse they tested but i assume they came back normal, they definitely didnt test my serratus anterior. back when my shoulder was way worse, i went to a sports doc and he said it was a "little winged"..and didnt make a big deal about it and neither did any of the physical therapists i went to i guess bc i have normal range of motion and strength (??) somehow. what really drives me nuts is my hands are both equally numb, youd think my right would be way more numb. any advice? i strengthen daily and it definitely helps. theres patches on my right arm that seem kind of numb. |

Both my hands /fingers have been very numb siince Aug I had 2 ncs tests both normal. It cant be from my tos this only effects pinky. & ring finger. Hope this gives u some answers |
thanks, it does!
it kind of confirms by suspicions about tos. ive read everyone here complain about their pinky and little finger the most, pretty consistently. even people with cervical ribs etc. mine are numbish but not as numb. when they did the ncs they only tested my wrist and elbow area. and then the mri of my neck was normal, the "strength" in my hands appears normal but i know something is wrong. my arms and hands are extremely fatigued. the neuro said maybe small fiber neuropathy but ive heard that wouldnt make my hands this tired. i had a stereoid injection in my carpal tunnel once and it didnt do anything either. i might go to another neuro or physiatrist. this was at emory which is discouraging...its not easy to find someone who thinks outside of the box and isnt a scam artist or a quack |

Where do u live? I recommend u find a tos specialist. Neurologists usually don't do proper tests to dx tos. Just give u nerve meds & emg s that's what they do. |
ive actually had two vascular studies and they came back normal
im in atlanta, glad im not the only person who hasnt been impressed with emory i might have to take down the pic, looking at it makes me want to vomit fwiw my scalenes arent even tight, my pec minors are tight anymore either |
but it was only a doppler study..with like a bp cuff
