Hey you guys!!!!
roll call are you here???
|
present & living a dream
Hunkering in for the summer...I have tinted the windows; rearranged the garden....ready for the scorch of S Florida heat and humidity.
Over all felling very well...had a bout with that flu that sticks to you....weight is coming off....no depression for a year now...I feel so much stronger....swim every day. I just heard yesterday about using laser surgery to tunnel OUT the leads. Istill really want my SCS removed so any feedback on that is appreciated. 80% of my pain is in the paddle area....like they did not make enough room in my spine for the paddle and it is pressing all the time Life is delightfully quiet for me....I hope to have a summer of the same. My best to everyone Johanna |

I'm Here!
Just got back from spending a week with the grandkids - 15 hour car ride both ways. Ugh! My back "went out" on me once while we were there, but we were SO active - hiking, climbing, playing, etc. - had a blast!
Pre-op is Wednesday, and second SCS surgery - for laminectomy/paddles - is on the 11th. Just hanging out and trying to enjoy a sense of normalcy until then. Hope everyone is having - and will have - a blessed summer! =Becky |
I'm here
Been lurking and contributing every now and then, but in the main just not been in the right frame of mind and not wanting to bring everyone else down with my fit of the blues.

I so understand your reasons. I am often pretty much with the same frame of mind. However, I am glad and amazed at HB and Becky being able to be as active doing the activities they have done; i.e.; hiking, swimming, etc. Those are dreams no longer able to even consider. Do so wish them well with their prospective surgeries; hopefully doing even more with less pain. Gerry |

One of the latest members checking in. Glad I found this place, even if we can't always help each other, at least we have a bit of an idea where the other members are coming from with their day to day life. Most of my family don't even think/know there is anything wrong with me, let alone discuss it with them. So I say again, Thanks everyone for your support and feedback.
