Magnesium supplementation

Has anyone found a good magnesium supplement and has it helped with muscle spasms? . I have read that Mag Malate is the best. Other places say mag glycinate. I have one by Integrated Technologies that has citrate ,oxide and malate 300 mg but I find it gives me diarrhea or close to which is very uncomfortable and afraid to take it.

Mixtures containing oxide typically are mostly
Oxide form --hence the diarrhea since
oxide is not absorbed.

Morton Epsom Lotion works topically well.
I am on an iPhone and can only type here
Briefly... So search here and find my posts
And further details. It is inexpensive and
very very effective and fast acting.;)

Thanks,I have some but havent been using regularily.I will try again. I read some of your posts. What type of slow mag oral would you recommend? (When you have a chance to answer-no hurry)

SlowMag is a brand name or it's generic
Mag64.

Walmart usually has them or Amazon.

There is a SlowMag website.

Parts of the body with inflammation going
on will have poor blood flow and this is
where the topical works best. One cannot
assume that oral is reaching everywhere.

Magnesium is awesome-taken it 6 years

NOW brand Magnesium capsuls-400 mg per capsule.
1200 mg every night, Keeps me regular-but Im prone to constipation.
Id rather take that than a prescription drug.
FYI, my last surgeon mentioned Mag as a light blood thinner so avoid along with nsaids before surgery!

I use Jigsaw Slow Release Malate http://www.jigsawhealth.com/supplements/magnesium

I take 4 capsules - 2 in AM and 2 in PM - which is over 1k mg of magnesium. I had tried other formulas and types of magnesium, mostly citrate, and could never get up to this dose without a colon cleanse.

I've been on it for about 2 years and it's the ONLY supplement that I've taken which has provided a benefit. As an added bonus, it helps me sleep.
