I use these up North (when it is cold)

and here during the winter. They are impossible to find locally, anymore.

I found them really affordable-- 4 pair for the price of one from Ebay compared from that website for one pair.

They are plain black...no fancy dancy styles. I just need them in bed since I kick my feet out from under the covers. They keep my feet pretty warm without socks. I cannot stand socks in bed!

However, the burning of my feet is so much better now! I will still be using the leg warmers. My bedroom floor is not over the house, (2nd floor) so it gets cool in the winter. I prefer to sleep cool, but my feet get cold without the leg warmers. We live in a very old house built in 1915!

Kohl's and Target typically have one or two pair each fall, but by now they will be gone.

I had a great deal from EBAY!
This is the seller I bought from, this new item is even $1 cheaper!

She ships fast too.

Thanks for this great site! I think I'm going to order some because I have such terrible leg aches from the cold weather.

Ohhhh! Thanks for this!!!

My hands tend to get so cold in the winter when I have to type a lot. They have fingerless gloves! :D

That is such a cool site! I'm bookmarking it for when I actually have little money left over some month. :p

Ooooh! Fingerless cotton gloves that go up to the elbow! I've been looking for something I can wear while typing as my hands hurt so badly when cold (stupid Raynaud's).

I'm not relishing my second winter in South Dakota. Last year it got down to -20 degrees! Actually had to wear long undies while INSIDE the house.

There's also a lot of stuff on the Sock Dream site my hubby might like me to wear. :D Thanks for the link.

You too, huh?? I don't have Raynaud's. Not that I'm aware of at any rate. But I do have low blood pressure and suffer with extreme cold. We live in a very old building and it's far from air-tight. It gets quite chilly in here at times. I'll be doing a much better job of sealing up this winter though.

I can relate to the South Dakota temps. I grew up in Ashland Wi. Right on Lake Superior and it's gets *cold*!!!! Currently I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains in SW Virginia and our winters are fairly cold. Nothing like up North but certainly much colder than most Northerners realise it gets here. Brrrrr!

I actually still have mine from the 80's when they were so popular and recently pulled them out to start using again. Funny how things do come back and after all these years I need them now more than ever before. Thanks for the site.

Leg Warmers

Just was looking on ebay for certain style of socks and found a bunch of ebay stores and ebay express that have lots of leg warmers.... Mrs D - I know you found some there too! There were lots!!!! Maybe give it a shot?

Jarrett I'm very sensitive to cold. Even at 50 degrees I go numb. Anyhow have you seen toe warmers? They help so much. My mom got me them at a sporting store but I think even Walmart has them. You put them on the bottom of your socks and keep you toasty for 8 hours.
