Treats after treatments?

Is it just me, or does anybody else feel like they deserve a lil something nice after a particularly grueling tx?

I bought myself a pair of earrings after that last ESI ( that was a rough ride, deffinately deserved earrings, lol). And a Stephen King book for this injection.

Hey, lil kids get a lolly pop for just going to the doctor - why don't we get sumpin?

:D

Absolutely! After each steriod treatment I would go and buy myself something. I have a whole set of english tea cups from one treatment.

Then after one particular treatment I went to the shoe store and ended up buying a pair of high heels. Guess I was rebelling against the MS.

Like L'Oreal says, "You're worth it!"

:D

I sometimes think I deserve a treat just for getting out of bed! :ROTFLMAO:

Hmmmmmm! I go for my next MRI on Tuesday, and I do so hate those! I think I'll deserve a treat if I'm brave.

I'm not a chocolate person, or an icecream person, infact I don't have a sweet tooth at all.

I'm on dissability so can't afford a new book!

Oh my! What a dilemma! :(

Koala, it doesn't have to be 'spensive. Stop off and have a coffee someplace and enjoy a quiet moment. Or even rent a movie - or just sit someplace pretty and watch the birds. It's nice out where you are, isn't it?

Some of my best treats were 20 mins alone watching butterflies and dragonflies. Hey, somebody's gotta keep an eye on them.

:)

I know! Sitting on the sand watching the waves roll in. I just love watching the waves........so relaxing! I'm sure I could just sit for hours doing nothing else.

:Excited: :I-Agree: If only postage wasn't so darned expensive.!

Am reading an old (1979) Mary Higgins Clark book that I hadn't read before .............found it at the library last week ("Pretend You Don't See Her"). I think I must have read nearly all of hers now as well.

Edit: Oops! That's 1997, not 1979. :)
