So tired

I could just fall over! :thud: I don't get it, I have done nothing to cause me to be so tired. Last night I started feeling like I was dragging my feet and I was starting to feel wore out. I went to bed about 10 and slept til almost 1 this afternoon! I've had to force myself to stay up, if I close my eyes I'll be gone again! Maybe I'll take a provigil and a shower and make myself stay awake until bedtime tonight. I just hate to though, I mean if there's some reason why my body is wanting me to rest shouldn't I give in to it?

my motto is if i am dead tired i rest the house and kids are all old enough to handle it themselves, unfortuanately not all of us have older kids, take a nap set the alarm get a few extra hours sleep, dont take the provigil so late in the day u will be up late, be careful suzy rest rest rest

gee Suz! mebbe it is juz part of the MS fatigue stuff? unless you got sumfin else going on, like sinus or cold or infection? IDK what the answer is

I have days I'm lacking energy, but seldom want to sleep, just don't want to "do" anything.

Here, have some http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b5.../CHOCOL116.gif

Is the heat getting to you, maybe? That might be exacerbating the fatigue.

Anyhoo, I'd vote for a nap.

Sounds pretty MSie to me, Suz. Heat and humidity are my sworn enemies, they turn me into a puddle of mush. Even sunshine through a window in the AC can overheat me.

You are probably right, for whatever reason, your bod is telling you to rest. I hope it doesn't last too long, it's maddening!

Ya know, Suz, even though I am in A/C all day, I know when it's hot outside, because I have nooooo energy. I swear, the H&H seeps in through the rafters.

Take a cool shower and take a nap. Ice water helps too. Feel better..

It's currently 95 in GA.. holy moly. I should go impress my kids by frying an egg on the driveway. Even though I'm in a/c now I took the troops to Walmart to buy daddy some father's day cards & a gift. I wasn't too tired but made myself take a nap so I can last till my Celtics play tonight!

I vote for the nap and I hope you took one!!!

Moose's rule of thumb: If I'm tired and know the boys won't put the cat in the microwave (again), I sleep.

Set the alarm for a 1 hour or so nap.
Because sometimes the provigil just ain't enough.:o

And trying to stick to a routine with sleep schedules helps as well.
Go to bed the same time each night, try to get up same time in the mornig.

And suzy... that icon with the ball still cracks me and my sons up. That usually helps with a boost of energy. :)
But that's just me...
