No charges yet on 91 year old who shot his caregiver

A 91 year old man shoots his caregiver and hasn't been charged yet?

I hope they update this soon so we know why they haven't charged him. This man was apparently known to open the door and start shooting randomly.

whoa, what the heck? ok granted age may be an issue and perhaps some dementia, who knows, but it almost sounded like, cause he was eccentric and was known to shoot his gun its ok, that report sure didn't sound good, thanks sandy, Strange is right Sue

I was wondering about this, too, Sandy. If the man had a previous history of violence and shooting a gun for no reason  you'd think they'd take precautions....like ummmm...I don't know...take the gun away!!

We have a 88 year old lady here in Atlanta accused of killing her boyfriend over a love triangle - she caught him with another woman!! And shot him! She's been going back and forth with retrials, etc....I know she's 88 but it's obvious that it doesn't matter what age someone is when it comes to using a gun...they kill no matter who's pulling the trigger.

For the victims family's sake I hope they take this man off the streets and get him the help he so obviously needs.

I agree, they should have taken the gun away AND put him in a place where he couldn't hurt someone. I haven't heard anything else about this story. Strange.

Sorry, I won't volunteer for his caregiver....unless he will be shackled!!

That story really made me so sad. What a lovely family and now 5 children will grow up w/o their Daddy. It's just so wrong.

This article says he hasn't been charged with any crime yet!

Not sure who's in charge of this investigation but it appears they need someone else. The man killed his caregiver! With a gun! What more evidence do they need??
