New Year's Resolutions

okay - I'll start ....

my New Year's Resolutions -

- to live with passion

- to live a fruitful life (expressing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) ... not just to be busy

- to have a good attitude (it's a decision - and a reason to look at the silver lining of a bad/dark day) ... remember: the sun is always shining - and the clouds will leave

Abraham Lincoln said : we are as happy as we make up our minds to be ...

My New Year's Resolutions..........

1. Take at least one day off this year dedicated to me.
2. Stop holding grudges.
3. Throw away my scale!

LOL Sally! :D

I used to make resolutions. But....then I'd feel like a failure if I didn't keep them all. :(

So now, I just take it a day at a time and do the best I can with each day I'm given. :) If I can have an attitude of gratitude, try and make life a little better for someone else along the way and be thankful for all I've got then I feel like I'm doing pretty good. :winky:

Fine...I'll bite!

1. Get my ice cube tray back out and fill it with all my vitamins and carp that I should be taking.

2. Exercise.

3. Eat more than just dinner.

4. Sleep more.

Say...does running my mouth or smacking people here count for exercise?:D

No? Didn't think you would say yes.:(

I think I will be also to do #4.:D

Great thread - thanks!:)

My New Years Resoulations are:

1) To have a Positive attitude - I have been working on this for sooo long and realise that it is so very important when you are dealing with any illness!

2) To not eat as much chocolate as I do at the moment (that will be hard lol)

3) To make every day a "good" day and to try and enjoy life the best I can - you just don't know what is around the corner and it is SO important that you make the best out of life!!

4) To spend as much time with my friends and family as possible and to try and get out even when I don't feel up to it!

5) To stop biting my finger nails so much - it's an horrible habit that I seem to do when i'm in a lot of pain and I really hate it!!!!

Try to be a bit more organized. I need to throw out lots of stuff so it will be easier to keep my house cleaned. :)

1) lose weight
2) get more organized
3) lose weight
4) throw away or give away a bunch of stuff that I really don't need
5) lose weight
6) become more spiritual
7) lose weight
8) be more positive (and that doesn't mean - "positive that I feel bad !"
9) lose weight
10) exercise (water aerobics or whatever I can tolerate)
11) lose weight
12) enjoy life to the fullest / be happy; after all, they have now proved scientifically that we effect how each other feels - even our neighbors and people at a distance - so it is important to be happy not only for ourselves but for others.... :D

and lastly.... da da da dah...... LOSE WEIGHT !!!!
