Biggest Full Moon of 2009

If your skies are clear check out the biggest brightest full moon of 2009 tonight!

Best viewing is at sunset - I hope someone gets a chance to see it for us in Maine are forcast for cloud cover and 6" - 8" of snow coming our way!

Hey YB!! I saw that on the news, but it's snowing lightly now, so don't think I'll get a glimpse of it.

My yard was almost all snow free and then since yest, we have gotten a few inches, so I'm back in the Winter freakin Wonderland!!!

We can't wait!

GrandMonkey got a telescope for his birthday. He is all set. :D

( he loves to use it to look out his window at the Taco Bell drive thru and tell me when there are no cars. Yeah...come on MeMe..we can get tacos without waiting)

We really should try to get into the hot tub and look at it tonight but it's supposed to be 10 degrees here.....

Um, the moon got bigger? We have many moons of different sizes? Is it Pluto?

We have been given a forecast for chance of snow: 30%. Since it's definitely snowing as I type, does that mean we have 130% snow? Is it like 3.0 by volume Coors?

If that moon hits my eye like a big pizza pie, I'll report it as soon as I can remove the raw steak from it. Hmmmm, a steak-out for moon watching. My neighbors' kids mooned me once.

We have been in Winter Wonderland since before Christmas! And I am thinking we might see grass come March or April! :D

We are 70% chance of snow later tonight but going to get 6 - 8" is that the weatherman's way of covering his butt?

The sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky and the thermometer says 23.4 degrees! HEAT wave here in Maine!

I was looking at it last night when it first came up, with my binoculars. Don't have a telescope. It was WAY cool.
