For Those with RSD 5+++ Years

Just a thought,

Why have so many with the RSD DX come up with Cancer as well?

buckwheat 03-07-2009 12:36 PM

Please I am not trying to scare anyone, but untreated viral and bacteria infections lead to Cancer in alot of cases. Just ask any ongologists.

Why do you think are cells change with CRPS?

Here's someone's else's history of RSD.

I was diagnoised with rsd back in 1991 when my foot surgery turned into a nightmare. Now I have breast cancer and my rsd is acting up again due to all the chemo drugs and my immune system not responding well. There is a rsd site www.rsdhope.org that can give you some answers.
Good luck

Some of you might remember Lisa, she beat the RSD after 3 years she went into breast Cancer afterwards.

She was RSD Type 2 DX.

Because cancer is in the top three causes of mortality for the human race and actually may be number one. I think it is number one and heart disease in number two. Anyway, that would presumably be the same for a sub-group of CRPS sufferers as well!

Dear Dubious,

You will find Mike with Research articles on cell changes weather it be TYPE I or TYPE 2.

So why do we have them, in your opinion? Is ongology your field?

Also, what about this article.

The Million Dollar question is can untreated Bacteria and Viral infections cause Cancer?

Much Love, Roz

Well, I have had RSD since 2003 & I don't have cancer, and hopefully I won't get it. I did have cancer in 1986, but they took it out & it never came back anywhere else. But we caught it almost the moment it turned to cancer. And yes it was cervical cancer. Had a PAP that came back as dysplasia, then I had PID 3 months later & she did another PAP & it came back full blown cancer. Had surgery & I am now what, a 23 yr survivor. We were shooting for 6 month PAP before I had the PID. I am now glad that I had that bout of PID.

Debby,

PID is an infection right? If your up for it do you mind telling me how long you were given antibiotics? Much Love, Roz
