Weekend Check in Thread: Friday, June 12, 09 Hello.
Hello,
I want to wrap up everyone here in blankets of comfort and hope. M. |
sounds good
Thank you dear Mari.
What a lovely thought. I'm signing up for one of your wonderful blankets. Remember to include one for yourself too, now! ;) ~ waves ~ |
well I wrapped up in one of your blankets and sat and read my oparah magazine for hours which I never do.
I felt so decadent, does anyone else feel guilty for this? How about just reading for enjoyment? non-work related materials, feel like you should be doing something more "productive". just curious???? me....who just took a shower and got ready for the day....uhm its 5pm:rolleyes: mind you I have a stack of these magazines at my bed side un read and I felt guilty for spending money on them and then not reading them...funny how I feel guilty on both sides of this picture...guilty when I read them, guilty when I don't read them...lol:Bang-Head: beth |
Well, as I sat outside in my Snuggie I thought of your wish Mari and it brought a warm feeling and content feeling to sit look at the trees, by beautiful roses that are blooming again.
Then it started to rain and lightning so I had to come in. I will have to share the new pic's Everyone have a great start of the summer weekend.(if we could get out of the 60's, and rain pattern. Thank you Mari. Di, I love roses. I bet they are georgeous.
I've worked on online surveys tonight and had a nice chat with Di. Earlier today I went out to my favorite restuarant and then to meet some friends out to lunch. barbara |
Sounds like a nice day barbara!
we went to the art walk downtown and met up with some friends and spontaniously went to get some margaritas and had a very nice time just visiting. It was very nice and casual. no anxiety beth |
My DD cats I am taking care of, I guess my Grandkitties
Scarlet Begonia and Dehlilah Jones, from the Greatful Dead i am told. Love a cold drink from the faucet to leave me lots of hair to wipe down everyday. The boy Samson, was hiding from the lightning....I have a sky light in this bathroom and they love to lay on the floor, the tub and the sink..... http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...1/PA100460.jpg |
Thanks Beth. Sound like you had a nice day too.
Nice pics Di. thank for sharing. barbara |
Having a snoozy sorta sunday here
i took some extra En this morning - figure on doing that for a while - to keep my anxiety level in check and prevent more nasty anxiety attacks like the recent ones. Weeeeelll.... i ended up snoozing this afternoon. Shoulda taken just .5 instead of 1mg. it's hot here today. i bet that didn't help. we have an oscillating fan on a stand, but no AC. it's not as humid as in FL thought.
this morning i also took pix of some of my mom's cacti but i don't know where my photoshop install CD is so i can't work with them on this computer... argghhh. i think the CD is still packed... in the garage, actually... double arrrrrgghhhhhh. DiMarie, those kitties are sooo cool. Great pictures. love those natural poses. you mentioned cooler weather there, but if it is warm inside i'm thinking the cats like those surfaces to help them cool off. apart from the faucet, lol. And your roses are just gorgeous. thank you for sharing all these pix. Beth, i am too lazy (honest) right now to reach over and grab the bird book which is bookmarked to the page of that hawk we looked up. i promise prommmmisssse i willllllll post it later. right now i'm still trying to get both eyelids propped all the way back open with a glass of iced coffee. it's not exactly yumm it needs more sugar but i'm too lazy to fix it... it will "work" anyway. glad you guys had a good time out yesterday. Barbara, sounds like yesterday was a good day... glad you got out. i hope you're holding out ok today. Sending you some anxiolytic hugs. Mari, our comfort and hope weaver, how are you??? Did you perchance get your cornea glued to that brand new HDTV of yours, or somethin? :p Give us a shout... (or a whisper, if you prefer). ~ waves ~ |
Hi,
The HDTV / DTV stuff doesn't work as well as promised. I might give up TV -- the technology is all so annoying -- when my siblings and I were teenagers we didn't have tv and we did fine. I have to remember to get to the pharmacy before 6:00 pm. They no longer have 24 hour service. Oh and I started a diet -- first few days hang around apt, sleep, drink water, get used to carefully monitoring food, and pay attention to body hunger signals (tdoc says hunger is good -- means diet is working -- she has longer version -- that is the gist).
