I was diagnosed with that in 99 by my Orthopedic Surgeon. He wanted to give me triggerpoint injections but I opted to have my PCP do it for me since it was around the heart area that I dealt with it.
Again I would think you might use lidocaine patches for her on the worst areas and as you get each one calmed down put them elsewhere. I have teased my Dr. about waiting for a bodywrap of the patches to come out. I also put a patch over my heart area due to the pain.
I have shots of lidocaine, mericaine, and have had ketimine injections it has calmed it down a lot but each Dr. treats it different. I can't take pain pills so I get the shots.
