Hi Keep Smilin sorry to hear you are going through so much pain. I too work full time and have trouble with sleeping. Apparently, insomnia is a symptom of RSD. My doctor just prescribed Ambein for me last week. I was reluctant but it seems to be working. You might want to talk with your doctor about it. It is hard enough to get through a work day without sleeping the night before. Wishing you restful nights Hopeful

To answer a few questions.. Yes, how irionic.. I too, was diagnosised on my 45th birhtday..what a solmen day that was as I had no idea what RSD was. I almost shook my dr.'s hand thniking he was delivering me a "good news" birthday news solution to my ugly painful leg... an answer to my problem but slowly following that day I did more research understanding.. Quickly I realized I was in deep trouble! Yes, I am wating to see Dr. Schwartzmann. My apt. is March 2010.. and I understand because this is a big step and he is a very busy man. They have already moved my apt. closer twice so I know they are trying to help me. No, I am not on any pain meds at this time..I am cold turkey RSD as I have a very senstive belly and everything to this point, I have not been able to withstand.. I have had two surgerys on my leg, land pT/ water PT along with 4 blocks, many, many pain meds, accupuncture and I do have the SCS implanted. Right now sleep is a concern... I still work full time but I crawl thru my day...it's a big effort... Dew, I love the art work..I look for it actually.. what a lift you all are!!! Thank you... Heres a painfree day for you all from me.. free of charge and simply sent!!::
