Hi Sue,
When I read of the pain you are experiencing my frustration, mounts as I wish there was something I (we) could do to relieve your terrible distress..

The surgery is still recent, and it could be your nerves are still screaming out in anger from the operation, and will in time settle down..have the docs shared their plan with you? It helps to have a preview of what's ahead in treatment..

In the meantime, we are there with you and holding you close in thought!

Sue,

I know it's not easy right now and here you are wishing us all well and a good day.

I hope that the meds eventually help calm it down, but the RSD spreading to the opposite side is horrible...

Don't lose hope & hang in there!!!
Keep us posted.

Hi guys,

you are the most caring people i have ever talked to. Iam sorry i don't come on that often. I am so sick of this leg. I can't wait to start walking without the crutches. They were giving me 2 slb blocks a week, but my back is so sore they dropped it down to 1 a
week. Its starting to work a little bit. I start pt this week. I lucked out, they know about rsd. Marleen, i pray for all of us each day. We are all dealing with this monster and i always hope that you all are feeling somewhat ok my goal is to come here more often.
Sometimes i just don't have the energy to do anything. My husband got me a laptop so i can now sit in a more comfortable place.

Love you all
sue

Good to hear from you Sue.

What about Mike's suggestions regarding the infusions? He provided a lot of great research above. Have your docs addressed this yet? If not, can you find someone who will? You may not want to let this matter slide, since the "acute" stage is likely half over.

Take care of yourself, and good luck.

XOXOX Sandy

I tried to get information about crps to the hospital before my visit. They did print out some info for the staff that would be taking care of me, i even had a nurse i knew from high school and her husband has had crps for 19 years. But i didn't want them to learn just for me, i wanted them to learn for everyone that goes to this hopsital with crps. The pain clinic has srarted back up the epidural blocks to try and calm down my foot. I'll talk later, can't sit here too long. Hope you guys are all well.

Hi Sue,
Thanks for letting us know about your surgery. I am so very very sorry your pain has increased so much. Hopefully the blocks will give you some relief. That was so nice you had nurse you knew in high school-I'm sure she was so compassionate because of her husband's rsd for 19 years. wow
I'm just getting over a 3 month flu. My immune system is so low. I have a lap top and it's so nice when I'm in bed. The price of the new lap tops have really come down. I'm on my 3rd one.
Take care, and hope you get some relief soon. loretta soft hugs

Great to hear from you Sue. Hope you keep making progress with your knee & leg. I also hope the RSD can be kept within bounds.

Hang in there!
