Collections of bites, could be bed bugs, or fleas, or chiggers (if you have been outside.).
Itching and hives may indicate scabies as well. If you have been to a beach/sand...there are sand fleas and also swimmer's itch. My son has had swimmer's itch a couple of times and was pretty
miserable. Swimmer's itch is a larva of a snail...and is passed into the water by ducks.

There is currently a huge epidemic of bed bugs in the US.
This is a major problem in hotels and motels now. Even the 5 star ones.
This is a link to what bed bug bites look like:

These bugs can get in your luggage and come home with you.
Bed bugs hide during the day, and are hard to find.

Thanks, Mrs. D!
My Dr's secretary mentioned bedbugs to me. I freaked!
I tore the place apart, and, of course washed ALL the bedding.
I also looked on the internet. Saw pictures of all "biting" insects, bedbugs and spiders.
I'm not 100% sure, but, they changed the A/C in my apt. that day. And, I caught a little bug, (I thought it was a spider), and looked similar to something I saw on the internet.
All my plants are in a different room.
this little bug was black, small, like 3/8ths of an inch, and sort of "square" shaped.
That's the one I caught on my leg.

It's about the only bug I've seen.
Except for these "mealy bugs" . I have a Key Lime plant, that I grew from seed. (short story, my father died in FLA, and someone gave me several dozen key limes. I brought a few home, and was able to get one to germinate from the seed. That was in '92. Wifey pleasant as she usually is, threw plant out side, into the snow
It was dead for all practical purposes. But, I took it, put in a basement, then the next spring, cut it back and put it out in the sun. I was going to empty the soil out, and reuse the pot. and I noticed a few little new branches growing off the bottom. The plant always reminds me of my father. But, these mealy bugs apparently can get through a screen window. It's a high maintenance plant! Thorny too. Yep, just like dad.)

Sorry for the long story.
My bites are healing, and the hives are too, with no more new ones.

I used that Aveeno Oatmeal bath a few times too. Good stuff.

Thanks all!

Pete
