Thanks for your encouragement and suggestions.
I am already receiving S.S. benefits, so I am safe there. I just need to be sure that I am represented well for my settlement, when that day comes. I have talked to a few attorneys in town and you are right Hubby, the attorneys here all know each other and don't want to be bothered. They readily admit that there is no money in it for them as I am into year 4 of my case and if I understand correctly, W.C. only has to pay for 104 weeks, then they schlep you off on to Medicare. They try to do as little care as possible and then underbid your future medical needs. (Medicare won't pay for needs for your injury) Workman's comp. is a mess here in CA. Arnold is in denial as to what is happening to injured workers. Do you suppose that we could get together and file a class action lawsuit?? Thanks for Mike's name and number Curious. If this other info. doesn't get me anywhere I will try him. In the meantime... I'm going on a chocolate binge!!! ![]() G ~ ![]() |
