Chat sessions are a great idea, but may I suggest you set a day and time? For example.... Tuesday and/or Thursday at (say) 7pm Central Time!

That's just a suggestion! You might prefer 11am or 4pm on a different day!

A set time and a particular day of the week, would be the way to go because people tend to get bored with sitting in the chat room hoping for some-one to drop by, and they leave when no-one does.

If you have a set day and time you'd be more likely to get others prepared to join in as they'd know what time to check in.

Remember also that weekends and Friday evenings are traditionally quiet around the forums, as most people spend time with family and friends on these days.

Because NT encompasses every state in the USA and several other countries, the time factor is important, so if you do want members from all states and countries to join in....you might want to look at their time zones when setting your chat times.

Pick a time, and a day, and post them here in the forum.

Good luck.... I hope your chat sessions are very successful.

I think that is a great idea. I would love to chat with everyone in real time. Anytime in the evening works for me. =) I look forward chatting with everyone.

Default Use of Chat Room

MellowGuy, I tried to set this up a couple months ago also. However the whole thing kind of did not work. Everyone is right you do have to set up a date and a time for everyone to meet there. Or you are just in there by yourself. I really hope that it does work this time! You can count me in also. Take Care-Breezy55 Please keep us updated to when this is going to start!
