I applied and had good letters from my doctors and everything and still was denied. I went in Front of a terrible judge who had made up his mind before I ever walked in the room. I found out after he denies everyone. My attorney then sent it to the appeal board and they denied me saying they agreed with the judge and did not review the evidence any further. Now I have to bring it up to the next step. I am looking for a new attorney since mine does not do the federal level. it has been very rough.

Many, but not all may know that there is a forum dedicated to Social Security Disability.
Here is the link. Lots of helpful threads on there........... http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum28.html |

Thanks so much. Just spent time on that link. Very good info. Would love to find some dialogue directly involving RSD/CRPS and ssdi - Appreciate your response to my post! |

Read the sticky in the SSD forum about "Don't start your claim unprepared."
This is the SS ruling on RSD: http://www.crpsadvisory.com/crpsa_ss...l#.UCdNM3t5mc0 RSD is not a disorder that automatically qualifies claimants for SSD benefits. But, it is possible to successfully prove you qualify if you understand the process which is VERY complex. Also consider using a non attorney SSDI representative (they are often former SS employees) since they often do more hands on work and will often do more earlier in the process. Buy or borrow a copy of a NOLO guide to SSD at your local library. |
